Breathe Easy Essential Oil Blend 10ml. (1/3oz.)  Category: Well-Being Blends

A truly soothing treat in times of congestion and shortness of breath, this blend combines the Essential Oils of various plants known for their respiratory support.

Breathe Easy is recommended for use in the sauna or any steam treatment. During time of congestion, fill a bowl with 2 cups of hot and steaming water, add 3-5 drops of Breathe Easy and inhale. You may cover your head and the bowl with a towel to intensify the steam treatment.

Used in hospitals and sick rooms since the dawn of civilization, the most famous application is the "Four Thieves Vinegar", used in the Middle Ages in Europe by shady folks to protect themselves from contracting the disease while robbing plague victims. (To review the ingredients of this "Thieves Blend" see the classic "Gattefoss?'s Aromatherapy", the first book on Aromatherapy, written by the scientist that coined the term, R.-M. Gattefoss?).

It is easy to understand why this recipe, while apparently effective, did not make it into the hit charts of modern medicine - it must have smelled so horrendous that people feared to become outcasts if they were not already members of the underworld.

Self Defense is inspired by this original recipe, yet also contains many "new" Essential Oils that were not known in the old times, like Niaouli, Green Myrtle and Cajeput, and those who just recently gained scientific attention for their ability to discourage bugs from growing, for example Lemon Myrtle and Lemon Tea Tree.

Luckily, our aroma blending genies have fused the most powerful Essential Oils in the world into a synergy that is not only highly effective, but at the same time deliciously aromatic, inspiring and harmonious.

Great for diffusion, especially in a sick room. Alternatively, make your own room spray by adding 10 drops to 1oz. of distilled water in a little mister, shaking well and spraying liberally.

Please note that this is one of Aromaland's most powerful blends, so remember: A little goes a long way. In the world of Aromatherapy more is not necessarily better! While your nose will soon stop noticing the aroma in the air, the Essential Oils are still present. For this reason we do not recommend the use of a nebulizer with this blend.
