floral. Very energetic and fresh. Quite green, with resemblance both
of Neroli and citrus peel. However, it is not as fine and floral as
Neroli. |

Aromatherapy Properties: Hypnotic and sedative.
Calming anxiety and panic attacks. Uplifting and easing the mind,
restoring ones energy. Great nerve tonic. |

Suggested Use: Add a few drops to a
diffuser for a relaxing, fresh aroma climate. |
|
|
|
Blends Well With: Most oils. Petitgrain can
be used to support the Neroli. Citrus oils, Lavender and Geranium,
Frankincense, Chamomile and Clary Sage. Rose, Vetiver, Patchouli,
Ylang Ylang. Cedarwood and Clary Sage. |
|
|
|
History: Petitgrain is extracted
from the leaves and little twigs of the Bitter Orange tree.
Previously, it was distilled from the small green fruit, hence the
name petitgrain – "little grains" It is an important ingredient of Eau de
Cologne. |
